Honoring The Sharpshooter

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled two officially licensed, limited-edition bobbleheads of Oakland University sharpshooter Jack Gohlke on Friday. Gohlke became one of the biggest stars of the 2024 NCAA Tournament with his performances in Oakland’s upset win over Kentucky and Second Round near-upset of Final Four participant NC State.

The officially licensed bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in October, are available at this link. Each bobblehead, which will be individually numbered to only 2,024, is $30 plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order. The bobbleheads, which are the first featuring Jack Gohlke, are being produced in conjunction with Gohlke by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of Oakland University.

Earlier this month, the Museum released bobbleheads featuring Oakland’s longtime coach, Greg Kampe ($30) and Oakland’s mascot, Grizz ($35). The bobbleheads of Greg Kampe feature the coach wearing his Golden Grizzlies pullover with one available in white and one in black. The bobblehead of Grizz features Oakland’s mascot in his black Oakland jersey on a base with Oakland’s logo.

Heading To Margaritaville

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled an officially-licensed Margaritaville Bobblehead on Friday to celebrate the life and legacy of beloved singer-songwriter, Jimmy Buffett, and raise funds for his Singing for Change Foundation. The bobblehead featuring the iconic Margaritaville parrot is available exclusively from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.

The bobblehead features a colorful parrot wearing a Hawaiian shirt and a backward baseball cap while playing the guitar. With “MARGARITAVILLE” written across the front, the base features a sand texture on the top with a bamboo-like border.

The limited edition bobbleheads are currently available for pre-order exclusively through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store. The bobbleheads, which will ship to customers in June, are $30 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.

The Singing for Change Foundation seeks to honor Jimmy’s spirit of giving, helping others, and having fun along the way. Happy Birthday To Tusk VI

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled an officially licensed Arkansas Razorbacks Tusk Bobblehead Series on Friday to coincide with Tusk VI’s 6th birthday. The series includes all six Razorbacks who have served as Arkansas’ live mascot. The limited edition bobblehead series is being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of the University of Arkansas.

The bobbleheads, which are now available in the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store and are expected to ship in July and are $30 each or $180 for a set of six plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order. Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,024.

The Razorbacks are the only major sports team in the United States with a porcine nickname. “Calling the Hogs” (Woooooooooo. Pig. Sooie!) is an Arkansas tradition that began in the 1920s. The school’s live mascot tradition dates to the 1960s. Since 1997, Tusk has been the official live mascot of the Razorbacks. The current live mascot is Tusk VI, a 350-pound Russian boar which closely resembles the wild hogs known as razorbacks native to the Arkansas wilderness. All official Tusks so far have come from the same lineage.

Remembering Bobby Knight

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a limited-edition Bob Knight Career Accomplishments Bobblehead on Friday to honor the legendary college basketball coach.

The Knight bobblehead features him wearing a red sweater, navy pants and pointing to give instructions to his team while standing on a rectangular basketball court base with BOB KNIGHT and THE GENERAL on each side of an outline of the state of Indiana across the front. The framed backing of the base, which features one of his memorable quotes, “Mental is to physical as four is to one,” also includes a sketch of Knight, replica banners of the three national championships won under Coach Knight, a numerical rundown of Knight’s career accomplishments, and a replica of Knight’s autograph.

The bobbleheads, which will be individually numbered, are only available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store and at BobKnight.com. The bobbleheads are available for $40 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order. They are expected to ship in August.

The special edition bobblehead is being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in conjunction with Knight Legacy, which was founded by Knight’s son, Pat, as a way to honor, promote, and preserve the coach Knight legacy and the footprint that Bob Knight made in the history of basketball. Coach Knight passed away at his home in Bloomington surrounded by his family on November 1, 2023, at the age of 83.

The Bob Knight Career Accomplishments Bobblehead is the latest featuring the Hall of Famer. Other previously released bobbleheads include one of a standing Knight wearing his signature red sweater, and another commemorating his infamous chair-throwing incident that occurred during a game in the 1984-85 season. Celebrating The Gamecocks

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a collection of officially licensed, limited-edition bobbleheads on Thursday commemorating the South Carolina Gamecocks’ 2024 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball National Championship. 

The special edition bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of the University of South Carolina. The South Carolina Gamecocks 2024 Women’s Basketball National Champions Bobblehead Collection includes three bobbleheads which can be purchased individually or as a set of three in addition to the Rocking in Cleveland Bobblehead celebrating the team’s trip to the Final Four in Cleveland.

The bobbleheads celebrate the Golden Grizzles’ coach who has led the program for 40 years and was a tournament darling during March Madness after a stunning upset over Kentucky followed by a near-upset over NC State. Honoring Penn State’s Title

FOCO’s GR8 Chase Has Begun

Forever Collectibles [FOCO] celebrated the career of Washington Capital Alex Ovechkin on Friday as he closes in on becoming the all-time leading goal scorer in NHL history.

FOCO introduced The Washington Capitals Alex Ovechkin 100th Goal Bobblehead, which is numbered to 308. It marks the beginning of FOCO’s Alex Ovechkin GR8 Chase Collection, which is being made in partnership with the Capitals. A portion of the collection will be sold at the club’s team store.

While a new bobble will be released every Friday over the next eight weeks, this is the only time the full set will be offered at a discount [$756]. This offer is limited to 24 sets.

Ovechkin entered Friday’s action with 840 career goals, trailing only Hall-of-Famer Wayne Gretzky [894], who also scored 46 goals in the World Hockey Association for Edmonton and Indianapolis. Howe, who had 975 career goals between the NHL and WHA, had 801 goals in the NHL.
